Main Production Process Of Machine Cast Film

Raw Material Mixing

Initially, selected raw materials such as LLDPE, along with additives like tougheners, stabilizers, and colorants, are uniformly mixed in specific proportions.

Melting the raw materials

A gravimetric feeding system is used to feed materials to one or more extruders at the beginning of the process. The components are then melted and combined by the extruders into a homogenous composition.

Flattening and solidifying

The materials are sent to a flat die to be flattened into a thin film after they have been melted by the extruders. This film is pulled to the cold roller's surface, where an air knife or vacuum box is used to cool and solidify it.

Trimming and rolling

To assist develop the correct thickness, the film is then put through a series of cold, polishing, and nip rolls in the final stage. After that, a winder trims it and winds it into a roll for storage.
