Why Stretch Film Has Stickiness
Depending on the molecular weight, the bonding function will be different. The high molecular weight PIB makes the film have high final peeling adhesion, but with the addition of the molecular weight of the PIB, the adhesion at the lap joint will be weakened; If the molecular weight is too low, it will lead to too short adhesion time because of its volatility. Therefore, the selection of suitable PIB molecular weight can make the stretch film have the best Z function. The study showed that PIB with an average molecular weight of about 1300 is more suitable for adding the self-adhesiveness of stretch film.
