PVC Sealing Tape

Using acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive technology, ASTM D3330 standard test validation yields peel strength on metal, plastic, and glass surfaces ranging from 25N/25mm, 20N/25mm, and 18N/25mm accordingly, therefore enabling a local pressure of 20kg/cm². Experimental data indicates that the tape may securely attach to uneven surfaces during transportation, therefore preventing sealing failure brought on by vibration or collision.

It has ISO 16751 certification for weather resistance, which means that it won't warp or bend for 30 days in an atmosphere with 95% humidity and temperatures ranging from -40°C to 150°C. The QUV ultraviolet-accelerated ageing test (500 hours) shows that it keeps its viscosity better than 90% of the time, and the colloid doesn't break or debond. This makes it perfect for harsh environments like cold storage and high-temperature workshops.

The product adheres to the FDA 21 CFR 175.105 food contact regulations and meets the REACH SVHC list criteria. SGS tests show that the migration amount is less than 0.01 mg/dm² and the TVOC release is only g/L, which is much less than the limit set by the EU packaging directive. The substance can safely come into contact with food to prevent contamination of the contents, and it does not emit any unpleasant smells.

The substrate has a tensile strength of 30 MPa (ASTM D882), an elongation at break of more than 200%, and can withstand a 1.5-metre drop (ISTA 3A standard). Simulations done in the lab show that the tape works especially well for packaging fragile items or high-precision instruments because it can evenly distribute the stress that builds up during shipping and significantly lowers the chance of the seal coming loose by 85%.
