Hot Melt Double-sided Tape

The carrier material provides structure and stability to the tape. It can be made from various materials such as paper, film or cloth. In the case of our hot melt double-sided tape, the backing is tissue.

Hot melt adhesive is applied to both sides of the carrier material. This adhesive is solid at room temperature but liquefies when heated, allowing it to flow and create a strong bond when pressed against a surface.

Once the adhesive is melted, the tape is applied to one surface, and pressure is applied to ensure good contact and adhesion. The tape can then be used to bond the two surfaces together.

As the adhesive cools and solidifies, it forms a strong bond between the two surfaces. Hot melt adhesives typically offer excellent adhesion to a wide range of materials, including plastics, metals, wood, and paper.
