PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Conspicuous tape, also known as conscientious tape, is a safety industrial tape used for warning. Particularly in low-light or nighttime environments, it is frequently used to highlight dangerous areas and mark vehicles and vessels, therefore ensuring traffic safety. Of course, reflective tape has numerous shapes. Some are fastened to materials to be used in safety gear like garments, headgear, and shoes. High visibility：Active safety protection
Using ASTM Class III/IV reflective materials (reflective brightness ≥500 cd/lx/m2), the logo can still be clearly identified at a distance of 300 metres at night or in low- light conditions. Laboratory simulation tests indicate that the retroreflective coefficient of the tape reflective strip decreases by less than 15% in rainy and foggy weather (humidity 90%+), and is widely used in:
- Traffic warnings: road construction cones, reflective edges of speed limit signs (in accordance with GB/T 18833 standards)
- Vehicle safety: reflective stickers on truck side skirts and wheel hub covers (reduce the risk of rear-end collisions at night; EU research indicates that it can reduce accidents by 23%).
- Industrial protection: fire equipment and tank outline markings (OSHA requires the reflective level of high-risk areas to be ≥ Class III).
Durability: long-term defence in highly hostile conditions.
Following 500 hours of ISO 4892-3 UV ageing test, the reflective brightness retention rate is >85%; ASTM D4060 Taber abrasion test wear loss is <3mg, appropriate for:
- Port container outline markers (salt spray corrosion resistant, passed ISO 9227 NSS 1000h test) for outdoor facilities
- Chemical plant pipeline reflective strips for industrial equipment are resistant to acid and alkali sprays and can withstand up to 72 hours without breaking off.
- Transportation: engineering machinery warning labels compliant with ISTA 3A criteria and impact and vibration resistant.
